1. %Temp%:

What are Temporary Files? Are they safe to delete or not?

Temporary files, Ending with (.TMP) Extention, these are files that are created to temporarily contain information while a new file is being created. It may be created by computer programs for different purposes; basically when a program cannot allocate enough memory for its tasks to run, Or when a program is working on some data bigger than the architecture's address space.

Now how to delete Temporary Files from your computer?
Press WindowsKey+R and Type %temp% and click OK :


Then the folder of Temporary Files will be open so you should Select All the Files and delete them, but some files will not be deleted because they are being used at the time so you should skip them.

2. Prefetch:

What is Prefetch and Prefetch Files are save to delete or not?

 Prefetch is a technic that is used to store the data of the application that you run in order to start faster but this will reduce the speed of your system, it will start only those programs that you use most frequently so always delete these files and keep your pc fresh.

Now again press WindowsKey+R and type prefetch and click OK :
Like the picture which is shown above.
And then Select all Files and delete them.

Or just go to My Computer and Right-Click on disk in which Windows is installed and click on Properties.

Or go to Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools and then click on Defragment and Optimize Drives.
